The Gentlemen’s Club

Date: Saturday 22nd November | 7:30pm – 12:00pm | Admission: £5 in advance, £7 on the door

Earlier this year Stuart Turner And The Flat Earth Society released a fantastically well received album called ‘The Art Of Science And Phrenology’, the recording of which was laid down by what seemed to be a now settled line up of Turner himself, accompanied by Bob Collins (ex of The Dentists), Rob Shepherd (ex of The Singing Loins), Nick Rice (also of Suzi Chunk/Groovy Uncle) and a drummer. As drummers are prone to do though… he departed. Luckily however, straight into his hot seat stepped one Steve Moore. With a batch of new songs already ripe for recording, even before the album’s release, and a drummer chomping at his own bits, so eager was he to join in the party, back to Rochester’s famed Ranscombe Studios they all trooped and bashed out this marvellous collection of tunes we now present to you.

Support comes from The Parade, Theatre Royal and The Dredgermen with added worsicles from the splendid James Worse Public Address Method.

‘The Gentlemen’s Club EP’ will be released November 24th , 2014 on Vacilando ’68 Recordings – cat #: V68-11.
