Deck the Hull

December 17, 2016 - December 18, 2016

Free

Saturday 17 – Sunday 18 December | 11am-4pm | FREE admission

Join us for a weekend of free, festive, family-friendly fun aboard the ship. There’ll be something to interest all landlubbers and salty seadogs alike.

Meet the local artists who took residence aboard LV21 over the past few weeks – Patience Agbabi, WordPlay, RouteStock and Steve Mace. Find out what they have been working on and how the people and places of Gravesham inspired their work. Share your thoughts about the work with us and suggest ideas for future community participatory art projects in the area.

Take part in drop-in creative activities while aboard; explore the ship and help the crew create a magical wintry river scene filled with glow in the dark snowflakes and a starry sky below decks, make your own nautical Christmas lantern to take home or just relax, sit back and enjoy some warming drinks and nibbles.

Come and join in the festive fun! No need to book, just turn up.

Suitable for all ages and abilities. All materials provided, subject to availability.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
