This spring we are shaking off our sea legs and stepping onshore for a special series of creative workshops and exhibitions.
Join some of our crew at Sun Pier House for a fun afternoon of crafts activity.
Build your very own 'ship in a bottle’ to take home while enjoying the magnificent river views and see if you can spot LV21 in the horizon.
We are also hoping to gather your ideas and suggestions for our future activities and invite you to add your 'dream porthole view' to the growing installation that will form part of a touring community exhibition celebrating the River Medway and the riverfront communities.
This activity is suitable for all ages and can be adjusted to all skill levels so please come along with the whole family, with friends or on your own.
As places are limited pre-booking is essential. Please email us at thecaptain@lv21.co.uk to book your place (max. 5 places per booking). Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
All materials are provided but if you would like to recycle your own clear plastic bottle to turn it into a treasured artefact please bring it along.
Please note that we are using plastic bottles for this activity to keep it suitable for all ages without the risk of any broken glass.
This workshop is part of RiverSwell, a partnership project led by LV21 working in collaboration with Tiller & Wheel, funded by Medway's UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Further information about the project at https://lv21.co.uk/projects/riverswell/.
