MG Boulter has been creating rich and evocative story songs since 2013. MG creates vignettes of suburban lives and seaside communities and is a contemporary voice in the long tradition of the singer-songwriter. Often referred to as the artist's artist MG has been a much sought after collaborator in the folk and Americana scenes, having tenures in the Simone Felice Group (US), The Duke and the King (US), Emily Portman's Coracle Band, Blue Rose Code, The Owl Service & Jon Boden's Remnant Kings.

Highlights:

  • Opened for Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott on their 2018 tour, including the Royal Albert Hall and major city venues.
  • Played main stages at Black Deer, Moseley Folk • "Beautiful, intelligent and understated and FolkEast Festivals.
  • Worked with BBC Folk award winning producer on albums released by Hudson Records.
  • Co-writer and musical director for 'Tales from the Thames, a play commissioned by the Queen's Theatre, Hornchurch.

Access 

As a historic ship access aboard LV21 is limited with main entry via a narrow gangway and a steep staircase. Please wear flat, non-slip shoes when onboard. The crew can assist with entry on arrival if needed.

Regrettably there is no wheelchair access to the ship.
